Established in 1991, Alrode Pallet & Box has grown over the years into a leading manufacturer in the Industry and has built up unmatched credibility with both suppliers and customers alike.

Our production plant and machinery are well maintained. We have internal production line quality control checks through each process of manufacture. We are proud of our "clean" record, that since our inception, we have continuously ensured that our products are quality checked before leaving our premises, to ensure that there are no incidents related to poor quality, materials or workmanship. We supply to many leading companies in South Africa and neighbouring countries.

We have a Kiln installed on site to offer our customers Kiln-dried timber, added to which we offer heat treating and fumigation services for export pallets, boxes etc. We are registered with the National Plant Protection Organisation of South Africa to apply the certification mark in terms of International Standard ISPM No. 15, and certificates are issued for the necessary authorities. All pallets heat treated in our plant will be at a minimum wood core temperature of 56 degrees C for a minimum of 30 minutes, in accordance with the requirements of ISPM No. 15. The wood core temperature of 56 degrees C / 30 minutes has been chosen in consideration of a wide range of pests for which this process is documented to be a lethal and commercially feasible treatment.
